Night Hacking - DEMO
A downloadable game for Windows
This is the demo for my first project as a solo indie dev. It contains a good chunk of the game and the save carries over to the full version which you can find on Steam. (I'll also consider putting it on itch.io as soon as I get some time to read through the legal stuff).
You are known as F4stTurt13 on the net, a grey hat, earning a living by completing bug bounties. A few years ago you lost the motivation to go out, in the real world, and now the idea of leaving your apartment makes you feel anxious. Unexpectedly, you’ll find yourself in the midst of conspiracies and on a dangerous path to uncover the truth.
> Night Hacking is, mostly, an interactive story narrated through chats, files, and websites
> The hacking process is guided and simple - the only mild challenge may come from the occasional “minigame”
> The demo should last 2-3 hours, depending mainly on your reading speed and interest in “side” stories. (The full game is around 7-10 hours)
> There are a few decisions that will impact the ending
Mature Content Description
This game contains content not appropriate for all ages, including topics like suicide, mental health, drug use, violence, and death. 2D pixel art graphics of killings are shown in a few instances. Illegal activities (mostly hacking) are portrayed. Occasional swearing is present but censored.
